Welcome Churches
Welcome Churches is a network of churches across the UK committed to welcoming new arrivals to the UK, whether refugees, asylum seekers or those migrating for other reasons.
UKHK is a branch of Welcome Churches dedicated to the warm welcome of Hong Kongers. City Life Church is one of around 30 churches in the Solent region signed up to be a HK Welcome Church and actually “HK Welcome” is a project of City Life Church.
St James’ by the Park in SO15, Above Bar Church in SO14 and Kings Community Church in SO30 are also examples of HK Welcome Churches in this area.

We have a dedicated advice worker from the national organisation, Citizens Advice, available to support with help and advice.
We also have a cantonese speaking outreach worker who provides support to newly arrived Hong Kongers in Southampton.
